1. May 9th – Mandatory Captains Meeting @ TBA 6:00 – 7:00 pm
May 12st – Captain Hook Fishing Tournament begins: First Light
2. ALL fish are to be weighed in at the Dauphin Island Marina; The Fish are to be weighed from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
- Five fish aggregate per boat. (Speckle Trout)
- Total weight, PRIZES for 1st – 2nd – 3rd ($900, $450, $150 respectively) @ 50 boats
- Lunker Jackpot for heaviest fish PAYS $1000 @ 50 boats
- Lunker ticket must be presented at the time of weigh-in (Stamped entry)
- Slot Redfish Category – Two fish payout for largest Redfish
- Tournament Monitoring on VHF Ch. 69
3. IGFA Rules and Regulations will govern this tournament and will be a guideline for rules committee decisions.
4. All teams must present ticket at time of weigh-in.
5. All boats must start and end trip through Alabama’s state waters, and not make landfall in between.
6. All fish must be caught on rod and reel.
7. All fish must be weighed in on the day caught,.
8. In case of a tie in any category, the first fish weighed wins the prize.
10. Any fish entered that place are subject to becoming property of the Captain Hook Classic Fishing Tournament (at our discretion)
11. All participants are subject to a polygraph examination.
12. All fish are subject to being checked with a T meter and or physical examination..
13. Any protests must be presented in writing to a tournament committee member within 24 hours of fish in question. No protests will be accepted after 7:00 P.M. on May 12th, 2012. Decision of the tournament rules committee is final.
Any fish that has been deliberately altered to try and add weight will be disqualified as well as the team.
